4. Can the secondary continue its improvement?

The defensive backfield took major steps forward over the course of the 2019 season for the Buccaneers.

Now, the question is if the unit can continue to make progress.

With players like Sean Murphy-Bunting, Jamal Adams, Carlton Davis, Jordan Whitehead, Justin Evans and Andrew Adams all returning, and the addition of second-round pick Antoine Winfield Jr., there’s an overarching belief that this unit will take major steps forward.

But will they be able to take what we believe on paper and replicate it on the field? That remains to be seen.
