Shaq Barrett signed the franchise tag and there’s a lot on the line for him and the Buccaneers entering the 2020 season.

Barrett was the NFL’s sack leader during 2019 and signing him to a long-term deal seems to be one of the top priorities for Tampa Bay moving forward.

That being said, he won’t see the big money until he proves that he can continue to be dominant past just one season.

Barrett is skilled. He has all the talent in the world to be one of the league’s top pass-rushers, but he has to continue to show production on-the-field.
