4. Ronald Jones II

Ronald Jones II is the next player to make our list and, just like Howard, it has nothing to do with his talent level.

We’re not here to bash Jones II or say that he’s not capable of becoming a big-time performer. It’s the simple hype from Buccaneers fans about what he’s going to be able to do without ever seeing it on the field.

Jones II is going to be expected to step in and become an every-down back. That’s certainly a concern heading into this season. We’ve seen analysts peg him as the ‘next great running back in Tampa Bay history’ and say that he will easily eclipse 1,000 yards rushing.

That’s a lot of pressure and hype to put on a running back who has a career yards per carry average of 3.9. Jones is talented, no doubt, but let’s stop hyping him up to be Walter Peyton and just let him be himself.
