Blockbuster Trade No. 1: A trade to get a potential future QB

This first trade wouldn’t necessarily set the NFL world on fire, but it certainly would be an intriguing switch for the Bucs.

The Dolphins have been dangling QB Josh Rosen out on the trade block to see what they can get and it wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world for the Bucs to pick up a quarterback who could represent the future of the franchise once Brady is gone.

Rosen has done nothing yet to prove his NFL worth, but everyone who watches his film can see that he has skill. Rosen would be reunited with Byron Leftwich and he would have some really good development opportunities with Bruce Arians and Tom Brady spending time as his mentors over the next two seasons.

In this trade, the Bucs give up safety Justin Evans- who has proven to be a solid defensive back at times- but they still have plenty of depth at the safety position that this wouldn’t hurt in the least.
