Vita Vea is the next player up on our list and it’s for good reason.
Vea took a major step forward last season as the starting nose tackle and contributed 35 tackles, four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and 12 QB pressures while filling that role up the middle.
While Veta is never going to put up monstrous statistics, anyone who has watched him play the position can see just how good he has become.
Veta is a guy who gets the job done by taking up space and creating pressure from up the middle. That absolutely has to be done in this 3-4 odd-scheme and he is currently growing into what many could consider to be the next great nose tackle in the league.
