3. Ali Marpet
You could make the argument for several guys on the offensive line that they’re forgotten. That’s kind of part of the job description.
But as we head into 2020, there’s no question that Ali Marpet deserves some respect. Some believe he’s one of the best offensive guards in the league and there’s reason to believe he will continue to improve this season with another year beside Donovan Smith under his belt.
He has been the highest-grading offensive guard in the league for the last five years and what he does is never mentioned enough.
Don’t take for granted the interior linemen play that the Bucs have had with Marpet and Ryan Jensen and don’t be surprised to see the talented guard take the next step forward this season.
