2015: Pick No. 1 overall

Since we re-drafted and didn’t get Mike Evans, the Bucs would certainly be in need of a talented wide receiver in this draft. While no one could’ve possibly ever known that Jameis Winston wouldn’t truly be worthy of that No. 1 overall pick, that’s the benefit of hindsight.

You can’t really blame the Bucs for picking Winston here. He was the clear-cut selection in everyone’s eyes, but he just never reached that potential in Tampa Bay, for whatever reason.

So, with that being said and hindsight in 20/20, we’d trade back to No. 4 overall and select WR Amari Cooper, a four-time Pro-Bowler. Cooper would be a big-time addition to the roster and would give the Bucs a play-maker in their offense for years to come.
