2019: Pick No. 5 overall

  • The original selection: LB Devin White
  • The re-drafted selection: LB Devin White

The verdict is still out on Devin White, but he had a solid rookie season and there’s no reason to believe that he won’t take major strides and continue to develop.

One could argue with Josh Allen being available that the Bucs could’ve taken him, but Allen doesn’t really play the same position and Tampa Bay was really in need of finding a solid addition to pair with Lavonte David on the inside.

While things can always change, White seems like the best choice when looking back at this draft and he has done nothing but show signs of promise during his early tenure with the Buccaneers.

Recapping the Re-Draft:

  • DT Aaron Donald
  • WR Amari Cooper
  • OT Laremy Tunsil
  • QB Deshaun Watson
  • S Derwin James
  • LB Devin White

Next. Three trades the Bucs need to make. dark

That’s quite the haul, in my opinion. What do you think, Bucs fans? Is there someone else you would’ve loved to see Tampa Bay draft?
