Devonta Freeman

I know there are a ton of Bucs fans who want to see Devonta Freeman in a pewter uniform.

Bruce Arians has been asked about the potential of signing Freeman and his words were pretty simple: We’d love to, but we don’t have the money.

Though Freeman later tweeted that he was more than interested in coming down to Tampa if the Bucs wanted to work out a deal, there has been nothing done between the two parties at this point and there likely isn’t going to be.

Freeman wants a large amount of money and he’s not backing down from that number. He is willing to sit out the season rather than sign a deal for less money than he thinks he’s worth and the Bucs simply don’t have the money to sign him, no matter how much depth he would provide to that running back room.
