Sam Elhinger, QB (Texas)

Do the Buccaneers want to find their future gunslinger once Tom Brady retires? Well, Texas’s Sam Ehlinger could be the answer.

While the top two quarterbacks in this draft class- Trevor Lawrence (Clemson) and Justin Fields (Ohio State)- will be long gone before it’s the Bucs’ turn to pick, Ehlinger could linger around into the middle of the first-round and potentially even fall to being a late first-rounder.

He has improved upon his accuracy and is a much more dual-threat QB than many realize. Ehlinger, in my opinion, is poised for a breakout season and will see himself ascend up draft boards before it’s all said and done.
