Training Camp: These Tampa Bay Buccaneers are firmly on the Roster Bubble

3. Justin Watson

It’s expected that the Buccaneers will take six wide receivers on the regular roster, though there will certainly be room for others with the expansions.

That being said, Justin Watson is simply a name to watch.

The Bucs already have Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, rookie Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller as basically guaranteed roster spots. There has been discussion that Bruce Arians may not be all that impressed with Watson- as he was drafted by the previous regime- and that could lead to him being cut and replaced by one of the undrafted free-agents at wide receiver this season.

I believe that Watson will make the roster, but there’s no doubt that he’s on the bubble heading into training camp.
