3. Moving parts on defense

Now, moving on to the football perspective.

There are key metrics that show just how much Tampa Bay’s defense improved over the course of last season, but that doesn’t mean that they’ll take the next step forward this time around.

We’re all expecting to see Shaq Barrett, Ndamukong Suh, Lavonte David, Devin White and Jason Pierre-Paul be dominant in that front-seven. We’re all expecting Sean Murphy-Bunting and the rest of that secondary to be improved, but you don’t know until you step on the field.

There’s still a lot of youth and unknowns- especially in terms of depth- when you look at that Tampa defense and that could be a challenge to overcome.
