Now, Urban Meyer likely only makes sense if Arians’ career lasts shorter than his contract. And many Buccaneers fans expect that to be the case.

Meyer was one of the most talented coaches at the College Football level and there’s an overarching belief that he’ll want to get back involved in the coaching business within the next 2-3 years.

If things don’t work out with Arians during these next two seasons, Meyer may be a ‘quick-fix’ option to come in and win some games right away.

Meyer still has one of the best minds in the business and would certainly be a nice hire for the Bucs.
