Three players the Buccaneers should explore trading before Week 1

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter the 2020 season as one of the hottest teams in the league after a successful offseason, but that doesn’t mean it has to come to an end now.

We’re progressing closer and closer to training camp with rookies already reporting, but there are still moves the Buccaneers can make to better their roster for both 2020 and beyond.

Here’s a look at three players the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should explore trading before Week 1.

3. M.J. Stewart

M.J. Stewart has plenty of talent, but just hasn’t found the right fit with the Bucs to this point.

He has lined up at the inside cornerback position, as well as nickel and safety. Again, there just hasn’t been the right fit.

Stewart enters camp firmly on the roster bubble and very well could be cut with a bad performance and that leads us to think the Bucs should absolutely look for an opportunity to see what the trade market would offer for a player like Stewart.

Stewart has some potential and could very well warrant at least a draft pick or be a piece to package together for a bigger trade of some sort.
