Five Bold Predictions for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp in 2020

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter the 2020 season as one of the absolute darlings of the NFL world.

The Buccaneers made some major additions, led by the signing of QB Tom Brady, during the offseason and they are now considered by many to be one of the favorites to make the playoffs and compete for a championship.

As Tampa Bay inches closer to the ‘acclimation period’ of Training Camp for 2020, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for preseason practice.

5. Antoine Winfield Jr. wins a starting role outright

Maybe this is considered a bold prediction, maybe it’s not.

Still, the reason we included this one is simple: You never know how a rookie is going to adjust and what they’ll be able to do when it comes time to take that next step, despite where they’re drafted.

In my opinion, Antoine Winfield Jr. is the type of safety who absolutely comes in and proves his talent and athleticism from Day 1. It won’t be long before the rookie is listed as a starter for the Buccaneers and our first bold prediction is that he’ll win a starting role outright before Week 1.
