4. Bringing in Rob Gronkowski
This is a decision that we don’t think the Buccaneers will live to regret for many reasons, namely because there’s relatively low risk involved.
Yes, Tampa is taking on a large contract for one season, but that’s it. Gronk’s contract is off the books next year and they’re able to get that space back.
That being said, this could come back to bite them if he spends much time injured or just looks like a shell of his former self. Then the Bucs will have taken on the large contract for little in return in a year where they’re doing everything they can to ‘win now.’
