4. Vita Vea

When talking about the Buccaneers’ front-seven, everyone is quick to talk about the vaunted pass-rush.

We are quick to speak about the job that Tampa does getting to the quarterback, but we miss out on the quality work being put in the middle.

Vita Vea doesn’t come away with a ton of stats- and that’s by design. His job is to do the ‘dirty work’ and stuff the run. His job is to force things outside and allow the ends and linebackers to clean it up.

And he got better and better as the season went on last year.

The job that Vea does shouldn’t be undersold because he is an instrumental piece for the Bucs defensively.
