Antoine Winfield Jr.

On the very first day of full-padded practice, Winfield Jr. forced a fumble and recovered it. He has been competing with Jordan Whitehead and Mike Edwards for starter-level snaps and it seems that he has held his own early on.

Just like Russell, Bruce Arians praised his intelligence and said that Winfield Jr. would be competing for a starting role this season.

"“He’s an intelligent player,” Arians said via The Tampa Bay Times. “It’s not too big for him. He’ll be competing for a starting job quickly.”"

Winfield Jr. may still be young and inexperienced, but his ball-hawking ability and physical nature is going to get him on the field and that was on display quite a bit during the first week of practices.
