4. The running backs have some work to do

At a practice earlier in camp, it was completely apparent that the running backs have some work to do.

Ronald Jones II dropped a couple of passes coming out of the backfield. Ke’Shawn Vaughn hasn’t been all that impressive since he joined the roster yet. LeSean McCoy has been solid, but it’s clear that age will still be a factor with him.

This running back group has some talent and there are pieces in place for the backfield to be successful, but it’s not just about fixing the dropped passes. They’ve got to get better in every facet of the game as a positional unit and they’re running out of time.
