Five Buccaneers who’ll make a major impact vs. New Orleans Saints

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will open up the 2020 season on the road against their NFC South rival, the New Orleans Saints, Sunday afternoon in the Superdome.

The Buccaneers enter the season as one of the favorites to make the playoffs after 12-straight years of missing the postseason. They’re the biggest threat to the Saints in terms of winning the NFC South and there’s no doubt that these two franchises are looking forward to getting on the field and competing to open up the season.

As we continue to countdown the hours to kickoff, here are five Buccaneers who will ultimately decide if Tampa Bay wins or loses to the Saints.

5. Ronald Jones II

Ronald Jones II is the starting running back heading into the season- though Leonard Fournette will have something to say about that as he progresses in the system- and there’s no doubt that he’ll be given the majority of the carries Sunday afternoon.

Will he make the most of his opportunity?

If Jones II can’t get anything going in the running game and if he makes mistakes- such as dropping a pass out of the backfield- he could be the difference between a win and a loss.
