4. Tristan Wirfs
Tristan Wirfs will make his Buccaneers debut Sunday afternoon and that could be for good or for bad.
Wirfs, the first-round pick from Iowa, has been penciled in as the starter throughout Training Camp and he’s now going to get his opportunity against a live opponent to show what he can do.
The Saints pass-rush is still one of the better groups in the league and Wirfs will be tasked with going head-to-head with veteran Marcus Davenport, who totaled six sacks last season.
Wirfs has the benefit of going up against talented edge-rushers in practice, but he’ll have to take that experience and apply it heavily here as the offense will be relying upon him to hold down that right tackle position.
