3. Scotty Miller

Scotty Miller had one of the best weeks of any Buccaneers receiver last week against the Saints.

Miller caught five passes for 73 yards (14.6 YPC) and was targeted a total of six times. The one time he didn’t come up with a catch, he drew a pass-interference call.

Miller proved last week that he could be a legitimate No. 3 option at wide receiver and was one of the big positives from the weekend, in my opinion.

However, he’s going to have to step up into a No. 2 role this week. Chris Godwin is currently in concussion protocol and even if he does play, he’ll likely be limited- similar to what we saw with Mike Evans this past week.

That means Miller may very well be the No. 1 WR coming into this weekend, depending on the health of both Godwin and Evans. That means he’s going to have to step up to yet another level to get that passing game going.
