Four storylines to watch as the Buccaneers take on the Panthers in Week 2

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to get into the win column for the first time in the 2020 season after a loss to the New Orleans Saints to begin the year last week.

The Buccaneers will take on yet another NFC South opponent, this time in the form of the Carolina Panthers, and they’ll be entering the match-up as a 9.5-point favorite.

As we continue to prepare for the first game of the season in Raymond James Stadium, here’s a look at four storylines for Buccaneers fans to keep their eyes on.

4. A home game without any fans

Let’s be honest, there have been plenty of games in the past with very few Buccaneers fans in attendance, but there’s never been a game with absolutely no fans in the stadium.

Until this week.

The ongoing pandemic has the Bucs playing their first home game of the season without fans and it’s certainly going to be a strange atmosphere. The production will likely look the same as last week when saw the Tampa-New Orleans game without fans in attendance and there will be piped in crowd noise, as well, but hopefully it will be improved and sound a little more ambient than during the season-opening slate of games throughout the league.

Perhaps some cardboard cutouts will be in attendance, but this will certainly be a weird sight to see considering it’s Tom Brady‘s Buccaneer debut in Raymond James Stadium.
