Duds

Not closing the game out earlier

When you’re up 21-0 at halftime, you shouldn’t be biting your nails and holding on to your seats heading into the fourth quarter.

The Buccaneers had chances to close the game out and make this matchup a blowout, but they simply couldn’t capitalize, especially offensively.

Offensive line play still an issue

The Buccaneers were facing one of the worst pass-rushes in the league and there were still issues on that offensive line. They didn’t give up any sacks, but still struggled at times to get a good push and were beaten out of their stance on several occasions. They were better than last week, but certainly not up to where they need to be.

Tom Brady’s interception

It’s understandable that Brady might have some chemistry issues with his new teammates, but that shouldn’t be the case with his long-time friend Rob Gronkowski. Brady sailed one over Gronk’s head on a play that looked horribly miscommunicated and that led to an interception on a drive that could’ve essentially put the Panthers out of it early in the third quarter.
