More Duds

The drops in the passing game

Brady missed on his fair share of targets and threw the interception, but we shouldn’t forget about the uncharacteristic drops by the wide receiver corps- two of which would’ve been touchdowns.

Ronald Jones II rushing performance for second-straight week

Ronald Jones II is a talented player, no doubt, but he hasn’t been able to get anything going at all this season so far.

Jones II rushed seven times for just 23 yards (3.3 YPC) and a touchdown Sunday, but it was clear that Tampa elected to go with Fournette down the stretch.

Time of possession something to watch

One thing to watch as we continue through this season is time of possession. The Buccaneers held the ball for 25:28, while the Panthers’ time of possession was 34:32.

That Tampa defense is elite- no doubt- but the depth is not. The Bucs need to find a way to get them off the field and to hold the ball for longer to avoid that defense wearing down as the season progresses.

Next. Carlton Davis' interception was the difference vs. Panthers. dark

The Buccaneers are back in action next Sunday afternoon at 4:25 p.m. as they travel to take on the Denver Broncos.
