Buccaneers: 3 MVPs from Tampa Bay’s victory over Panthers
1. Devin White
Our No. 1 MVP may come as a bit of a surprise to you, but if you go back and watch the game you’ll see exactly why.
Devin White finished the afternoon as the Buccaneers’ leading tackler with 15 total tackles, 11 solo, one tackle for loss, one QB hit and a pass deflection, but it’s not just the stats that make White the MVP of the game.
It was the way in which he played.
That stat line in and of itself shows how White was all over the field. He made plays against the pass and the rush. He was in the backfield. He was finishing off runs and was difficult all day for the Panthers.
The sophomore linebacker has really come into his own and there’s nothing stopping him from earning Pro-Bowl honors before it’s all said and done this season.
