The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have started the 2020 NFL season 1-1, but they have begun to send a message that should concern the rest of the league.

As week three of the 2020 NFL season has come, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are sitting non-threateningly at 1-1 on the year. The Bucs were able to put together some excellent drives during their two games and have shown some highlights, but there have also been numerous shortcomings that cause even the most staunch fans to scratch their heads.

At times, Tom Brady looks like a force of nature and appears to defy his age, while other moments are marred by missed targets and interceptions, which feels all too familiar.

The defense has been a different story and has seemingly turned the corner on almost a decade of subpar play. The Bucs have depth from their rookies to their veterans on the defensive side of the ball, and the first win mainly came on the shoulders of a massive defensive showing.

It may not seem like it yet, but Tampa Bay is laying the foundation for a franchise that will remain relevant for years to come. Even if some of the more prominent names or coaches leave, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a team to fear down the road, and these are the reasons why.
