Perhaps the draft machine knows something that we don’t about Ndamukong Suh’s future in Tampa Bay, but one way or another, the Bucs need to address defensive end to keep their dominant line play intact.

Vita Vea and William Gholston are on the roster for the foreseeable future on reasonable contracts, and Suh has still shown a very high level of play, but his age causes several questions regarding his long-term future in Tampa.

Darius Stills has the potential to step in and play some essential reps for the Buccaneers as a rookie. Tampa Bay will likely keep Suh for the sake of a playoff run, but they could see Stills as a viable replacement down the road.

If the Bucs decide to ride with the rookie, Stills may take some time to acclimate to the NFL game as he still needs to grow, but he could develop into a very successful defensive lineman for the Buccaneers down the road.

Stills hasn’t played a ton during his time at West Virginia, but his talent is undeniable, and he could bring a high level of play against the pass and the run for the improving Buccaneer defense.
