1. Protect Tom Brady and it’ll be a big day
Ultimately, this comes down to one simply key: Protecting Tom Brady.
If the Buccaneers are able to contain Joey Bosa and that talented pass-rushing group that the Chargers possess, they’ll win the game.
The Chargers have been successful defensively when they’ve been able to get to the quarterback and create negative yardage plays. If the Bucs can give Brady time to throw- even with Chris Godwin out- he’ll find the open receiver and his weapons will eventually wear down the LA defensive backfield.
Protect Brady and you’ll have a big day. Sounds simple enough, right?
