Three injuries that could spell a loss for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Chicago Bears

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are injury-riddled and are now on a short week as they prepare to take on the Chicago Bears Thursday evening.

The Buccaneers have seen their injury report piled onto through the weeks and there’s no doubt that they can’t afford any more as we progress through the 2020 season.

As we prepare for the matchup with the Bears, here’s a look at three injuries that could spell trouble, and potentially even a loss, in Soldier Field.

3. O.J. Howard

O.J. Howard is done for the season with a reported ruptured Achilles.

Though it was clear that Howard was banged up, no one thought at the time of his injury that it was season-ending, but that quickly became apparent as he was eventually carted off to the locker room.

Losing Howard is a much bigger deal than most believe or think on the surface. Yes, the Buccaneers still have depth at the tight end position with Rob Gronkowski and Cameron Brate, but losing Howard certainly takes a hit in terms of depth and takes away one of the top receiving options for Tom Brady throughout the first portion of this season.
