Tom Brady is frustrated with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive line

There have been few times in his career that Tom Brady has been visibly frustrated, but that was on display Thursday night as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers came up short against the Chicago Bears.

Brady- who had actually been sacked at an extremely low rate heading into the game against the Bears- was sacked three times during the game, pressured more than 10 times and knocked down eight times.

Towards the end of the game, you could see the affect that the Bears’ pass-rush was having on Tom Brady as he began to fall down and duck even when a defender wasn’t near him.

The truth of the matter is this: As he continued to take hits, get pressured and attempted to elude himself from Chicago defenders, Brady was frustrated with his offensive linemen up-front and there’s really no other way to put it.

Tom Brady & the entire Bucs offense has to find a way to address the issues and get better

It’s frustrating as a Buccaneers fan to wait 10 days before getting to see the team play again after a heart-wrenching loss, but this may actually be one of the best things that could’ve happened.

The offense now has a chance to address the issues and develop.

Brady and his offensive line can get on the same page and, perhaps, they can figure out why Donovan Smith– in particular- is whiffing so much in pass-protection.

This Buccaneers offense has an opportunity to be one of the most explosive units in the league, but it all starts with the group up-front and, let’s be honest, they just haven’t been very good so far.
