Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will hit the road this Sunday to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in a matchup between two playoff hopefuls.

The Buccaneers improved to 4-2 on the season with an emphatic 38-10 win over the Green Packers at home last weekend and will be hoping to use that momentum to their advantage heading into this one.

The Raiders, on the other hand, are coming off a bye week. Before their open date, Las Vegas beat their cross-divisional rival Kansas City 40-32. The Chiefs are considered the overwhelming favorite to win the Super Bowl.

Prediction & Analysis for the Buccaneers’ matchup with the Raiders

This game between the Bucs and Raiders was originally scheduled for Sunday Night Football in prime time, but that was changed due to a positive test on the Las Vegas roster.

Now, the matchup is scheduled to be played at 4:05 p.m. E.T. on Sunday to give flexibility if it were to have to be moved back a day or two.

While we won’t get the nationally-televised feel, this is still a big-time game between two teams that have legitimate playoff hopes. The Bucs will have an advantage along their front-seven considering the Raiders’ offensive line has missed practice all week and we’d expect Tampa Bay to try and create pressure and make things difficult on Derek Carr.

On the other side of the ball, expect Tom Brady and that Bucs offense to put up some points but this won’t be a blowout by any means.

The Raiders are a much-improved team and this will come down to the fourth quarter.

In the end, the Bucs’ defense makes a few more stops and the offense makes the plays it needs to win the game. It won’t be as pretty as the previous week, but a win will do just fine.

Final Score Prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 28, Las Vegas Raiders 21
