The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could make several trades to take advantage of tanking teams.

Good teams get better at the trade deadline. As the deadline approaches, teams grow more desperate to get off their worst contracts or recoup draft picks for the future, and teams like the Buccaneers need to use these opportunities to their advantage.

The 2020 NFL season has seen numerous franchises that looked ready to compete fall off the face of the planet. The Vikings have been one of the biggest bombshells, as playoff hopes have dissipated over the course of several heartbreaking weeks. These teams that looked ready but fell short now have a decision to make. Should they keep pushing and hope to bring it all together late, or do they sell low and reload?

Most of these weaker teams don’t have to rebuild completely, but they will have to sell early on some of their players in an effort to keep the cap space under control. For that reason, numerous talented players are on the trade block, and the Buccaneers should take advantage of this situation.

While these trades may seem too good to be true for the Bucs, deals like this could take them to the next level as contenders.
