More Studs

Antoine Winfield Jr. continuing to prove his talent

Antoine Winfield Jr. may just be a rookie, but he is making plays on the backend of that defense. Winfield Jr. tied for the most tackles on the team (6) during the game and he made the game winning pass-deflection.

Winfield Jr. is continuing to prove his talent and he’s absolutely making his name known.

Leonard Fournette made himself known

Speaking of making himself known, Leonard Fournette has reintroduced himself to the offense. While I wouldn’t call Fournette’s performance a ‘stud’ by any means, he did exactly what was asked of him. He had 71 yards of total offense and took care of the football.

Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski coming up in receiving shortage

Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski stepped up with Chris Godwin out. Evans and Gronk combined for 96 yards receiving and a touchdown apiece in a night where the receivers were having a difficult time creating separation.

Making the plays needed to win

Ultimately, the Buccaneers made the plays they needed to win. It wasn’t pretty. It didn’t have a lot of flare, but they got the job done. That’s what’s different about this team compared to teams in the past.

They find ways to win, despite the difficulties and ugliness that may come during the course of a game.
