Duds

The fumble from Ronald Jones II

Of course, there were plenty of ‘duds’ in Monday’s game, as well. Ronald Jones II fumbled the ball on the second drive of the game and gave the Giants new life. Had the Bucs held onto the football there, the Giants likely don’t score a touchdown and take the lead.

Defense made Daniel Jones look like a Hall of Famer

Daniel Jones has been nothing short of awful for much of the season, but he shined Monday night.

Other than two costly interceptions, Jones made some spectacular plays and the Bucs defense surely didn’t help itself. Jones finished the night with 256 yards passing and two touchdowns.

Bucs receivers couldn’t create separation for much of the night

The Buccaneers receivers couldn’t create separation from the New York defensive backs. Several throws that Tom Brady put right on the money were simply deflected by Giants defenders because the Bucs couldn’t get free. That was certainly a disappointing aspect of the night.
