Tom Brady should’ve come to the NFC a lot sooner

There’s no doubt that Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFC and the truth of the matter is that he should’ve made the switch sooner.

At the age of 43, Tom Brady was just named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for October and there’s little doubt that he can still play despite the doubters who were speaking so loudly earlier in the preseason.

Brady made the move to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this spring and it has absolutely seemed like the right decision so far, but can you imagine if Brady had made the switch to a team with legitimate weapons in the NFC earlier in his career?

Say, five years ago Tom Brady walked away from the New England Patriots

You’d be talking about him avoiding battles with teams like Pittsburgh and Kansas City (later in his career) and you’d be discussing him in battles with the Packers, Seahawks and Falcons.

Now, of course, one can make the argument that Tom Brady won three Super Bowls in the last six years and competed in four of the last six, but there’s no telling what he could’ve been able to do by establishing a dynasty in the everchanging NFC.

Can you imagine if Brady- five years ago with his talent- joined a team (possibly even the Buccaneers) that had offensive talent and a willing franchise that wanted to put weapons around him. Those teams like the Packers, Seahawks, Falcons and 49ers might not have ever even made a run at the Super Bowl.

In addition, you’d be talking about Brady putting up even more impressive statistics than what he did in New England with basically no offensive help around him.

The result? He’d be considered the GOAT even more heavily than what we already consider him.

Next. Studs & Duds from the victory over Giants. dark

Yes, Tom Brady should’ve blown the popsicle stand in New England a long time ago and came to the NFC instead.
