The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added Antonio Brown and Tom Brady during the same season. Would anyone believe this back in 2016?

If a time traveler came from the past to 2020, outside of the painfully obvious in the rest of the world, one of the biggest sports surprises would be that Tom Brady and Antonio Brown are both on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time, and both players were some of the best to play during the 2010s.

The path to Tampa Bay was surprising for these superstars, but it all started with Bruce Arians and Jason Licht. The Buccaneer front office has been phenomenal of late, and the decisions that have come from the top are one of the biggest contributors to the Buccaneer success.

Even after the Bucs signed Tom Brady and brought in some great free agents, they haven’t wavered in their efforts to field the best team possible at the end of the season. Trading for Leonard Fournette or Rob Gronkowski wasn’t a necessity. The Buccaneers could’ve just switched out their starting quarterback and tried again, but the fans know what happened next.

In a shocking turn of events, the Buccaneers signed Antonio Brown to their roster despite all of the signs pointing the other way. Tampa Bay has continued to bring as much firepower to their team as possible, and something special could begin for the Bucs this week.
