Unfortunately, Shaquil Barrett hasn’t lived up to his billing in any way, shape or form through the first half of the season.
Barrett, who was the NFL’s sack leader last season, has totaled just three sacks and 33 tackles through the first eight games.
Barrett had 19.5 sacks last season and it was looking as if he could become one of the top-paid edge-rushers in the league, but that’s not looking as positive here as of late.
Barrett needs to step up as a more solidified edge-rusher as we progress through the rest of this year.
