The Tampa Bay Buccaneers experienced one of their worst losses ever last night, and it is time to start assessing blame to those responsible.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t just lose against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football; they were completely and totally demolished. The Bucs haven’t lost a game like that in years, so the fact that it came during a purported Super Bowl run causes it to hurt even more.

“Just be happy that they’re winning,” some may say. “You’re too critical,” others complain after questions are raised as to why the Bucs just snuck by a team like the Giants in another primetime matchup.

Times like this are the exact reason why winning alone will never be good enough. Not all wins are created equal, and the only time where a team should receive the benefit of the doubt is the Super Bowl.

The Buccaneers grew complacent, and a flat game against the Saints could have ramifications for the rest of the season. Bane put it best right before he broke Batman’s back when he said, “victory has defeated you.” It’s hard not to see the similarities between these scenarios.

If Tampa Bay has any hope of righting the ship and saving their season, they will need to hold the following individuals responsible for their hand in one of the worst losses in franchise history.
