Ronald Jones

Can the Bucs fanbase finally be happy that the team did not draft a replacement for RoJo in one of the early rounds in the 2020 draft?

Ronald Jones has been one of the top running backs on the ground so far this season, and statistically, he is third in rushing yards amongst the entire NFL and is in second in the NFC.

Jones has experienced some lows at various points during the season, especially in the passing game, but his overall production has skyrocketed over his prior performances. The RB1 for the Buccaneers has shown great vision, burst, and balance in a campaign that has been hampered by the offensive play-calling.

Jones gets some of the least imaginative plays in the history of the sport, yet he is able to turn these duds into something positive. RoJo has made men miss in space at crucial points to extend drives and save plays, and his 98-yard touchdown last week was a great Pro Bowl highlight introduction.

The Buccaneers haven’t sent a running back to the Pro Bowl since Doug Martin in 2015, but Jones is easily on pace for that honor this season if he maintains his current success with efficiency on touches.
