Four teams for Buccaneers fans to root for during Week 12 as playoff race heats up

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have a lot to play for down the stretch.

The Buccaneers currently sit at 7-4 and will have a short week to prepare for the Kansas City Chiefs as they look to bounce back in the biggest way possible.

That being said, whether or not Tampa Bay wins or loses this weekend, there are several other teams around the NFC who are making playoff runs and will be heavily competitive for those berths as we head down the stretch.

Here’s a look at four teams for Buccaneers fans to root for during Week 12 of the 2020 season.

Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos will take on the Bucs’ NFC South Division rival- the New Orleans Saints– this Sunday.

Following the loss to the Rams, it’s hard to conceive of the Bucs having any real chance at winning the division. They are already two games back with just five weeks remaining and would need the Saints to lose three games (New Orleans holds the tiebreaker) and they would need to go undefeated to still win the division.

That being said, if it’s going to happen, it has to happen this week. The Broncos can be competitive and it will be interesting to see if the Saints are able to escape with a win.
