Five Tampa Bay Buccaneers who have disappointed in 2020

The 2020 season isn’t over for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yet, but the current mood throughout the fan base is one of disappointment.

The  Buccaneers currently sit at 7-5 overall and still have an opportunity to break through and earn a spot in the playoffs for the first time in 12 seasons.

That being said, the 7-5 record is not exactly what Tampa Bay fans were hoping for and there have been some excruciating losses along the way.

As we continue to look back on this season and look forward to what is to come, here are five Buccaneers who have been disappointing to watch so far.

5. Leonard Fournette

There were many who believed that Leonard Fournette would take the offense to the next level by giving the Buccaneers a legitimate rushing option, one better than Ronald Jones II.

For whatever reason, that simply hasn’t been the case with Fournette.

He is still second on the depth chart, has dropped several passes out of the backfield and has a total of 271 yards on 69 carries (3.9 YPC) and three touchdowns on the season.

The hope was that Fournette could develop into a guy that carries the ball somewhere in the vicinity of 12-20 times per game and average well over four yards per carry in doing so.  That just hasn’t happened.
