Dan Orlovsky expects more from Bruce Arians

The analysts have loved the Buccaneers so far this season, and Tampa Bay continues to sit at the top of most power rankings, even with the five losses. While it has been easy to support the Bucs’ massive turnaround, ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky is not amused.

Orlovsky has put some questionable takes out in the past, but he isn’t making a baseless claim with this one. Arians has made numerous poor decisions this season, and it couldn’t come at a worse time.

The Buccaneers have to find success his season. After going all-in this offseason and spending a ton of money in the free-agent market, Arians will receive more scrutiny than usual when the team is not performing well.

Orlovsky has been critical of Bruce Arians’ offense over the past few weeks, especially when it has become so predictable. The Buccaneer offense has become painfully predictable, which has led to a massive drop-off in production.

While Orlovsky may be slightly over-critical of Arians, he isn’t entirely wrong either. If Arians continues to leave the offense in the last decade, Tom Brady will stagnate. Brady is performing well despite the poor play-calling, but Arians has to step it up if he hopes to get the most out of his starting quarterback.
