1. They’re right in it as we head down the stretch

Say what you want to about a disappointing 7-5 record (and it certainly is) and say what you want about the two-game losing streak with the ugly offense and the defense’s inability to get off the field when it mattered most (against the Chiefs last week, for example), but through all of that we should remember one key fact: This team is still right in it.

The NFC South might be gone, but you don’t have to win your division to clinch a berth in the playoffs.

In 2020, there are three wild-card spots and nothing is stopping the Buccaneers from getting one of those. They even still have a shot at locking up the first wild-card spot, which would give themselves a game against the winner of the NFC East.

The Bucs are going to be favored in each of their last four games as we head down the stretch and they still have a chance to finish the year 11-6, which would be a major improvement.

It may seem like the sky is falling- and there are certainly plenty of areas for improvement- but we shouldn’t forget that there are still some major positives with this team, as well.
