Everything is clicking for the Buccaneers

Tom’s winning attitude and belief in the team seemed to be rubbing off. Finally. The team was starting to believe in themselves and gained that no-quit attitude. The fans were seeing what the coaches already saw. The players were believing it, and in themselves.

Things were clicking. This wasn’t the same team since week 6, or even week 12, even with those last 2 losses of the season to the Rams and KC by a field goal, each. They were 11 and 5 and had clinched a playoff (wildcard) birth for the first time in 13 years. That first road game against the Washington Football Team was the start of their big run, although most of us thought we would win that game.

Then came the game, in my mind, that solidified their actual chances to live out this fantasy. Beating the Saints in the Divisional round! That hope we all had 11 months ago, when Licht and Arians pulled off that inconceivable deal, became abundantly real, regardless of having to go to the Arctic tundra, in Wisconsin.

This was the dream scenario that actually materialized! Now the Bucs still have a tough road ahead of them this Sunday, but I wouldn’t count out this team, or this QB, or this coaching crew, and everything they’ve achieved to get here. If you think that they are merely satisfied with just making it to the Super Bowl, I’d be hard pressed to tell you, you just don’t know these Bucs!
