On February 24th, 2021, Bruce Arians and General Manager Jason Licht tried to turn the page on the boat parades and the avocado tequila shots that defined much of the month. For as fun and exciting as that time was (and it was!), it quickly became clear that winning the Super Bowl also means you’re really behind on your work for free agency, but luckily by all indications it looks like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to go for the work ahead. Arians and Licht gave about 20 minutes of live Q&A.

With that being said, what could be better than to go through and pick out the top five things we learned?  Of course, there was a lot to take away from the Q&A, and this is simply the calm before the storm. There is a lot that can change between the day of this writing and the start of free agency on St. Patrick’s Day. While we learned a lot from Arians and Licht speaking, actions speak louder than words and we’ll learn plenty in the days to come. But for now, let’s take a look at where things stand before some of our most beloved Buccaneers officially become unrestricted free agents.
