The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can find value in the late rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft with these player who should be available on Day 3.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heading into the NFL Draft season and free agency with a handful of positions that need some attention. Even if general manager Jason Licht and head coach Bruce Arians were able to figure out a way to keep most of their star free agents aboard the ship, there is still some serious work that needs to be done in the personnel department.

Free agency is certainly where you can collect pretty pieces and luxuries that allow you to compete in the moment. That said, it’s during the NFL Draft where organizations are built for success in the long term.

The Buccaneers are ready to compete again in 2021, but there is work to do in order to be competitive into the future.

A big part of a successful draft strategy is being able to identify talent in the later rounds. Players found after round four are going to come at a discount contract-wise, but there are also quality players available in rounds five, six, and seven who go on to make an impact for their respective teams and have long NFL careers.

Heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, the Bucs have six positions of need that stand out: Defensive Line, Outside Linebacker/Edge Rusher, Center, Tackle, Running Back, and Quarterback.

Here are three players at each of those positions who should be available for the Buccaneers in the later rounds of the draft. These players all have the potential to make an impact in their first or second years in the NFL.
