Buccaneers: Potential late round NFL draft picks for positions of need

Centers for the Buccaneers
Jimmy Morrissey, Pittsburgh
Morrissey began his career as a walk-on, and ended it by winning the Burlsworth Trophy — given to the most outstanding player in college football who began his career as a walk-on. He ended up being a four-year starter, and demonstrated the technique and toughness necessary to play center at the highest level. This is a guy you want in the locker room and in the huddle for the long term.
Drake Jackson, Kentucky
Jackson was a successful starter in the SEC and a terrific run-blocker. His agility and football are NFL-ready, and he provides additional value by bringing experience at both the center and guard position.
Ryan McCollum, Texas A&M
McCollum is a big-bodied center who is very athletic for his size. He was the leader of one of the best offensive lines in the country, and understands how to block for both a traditional pocket-passer and for a quarterback who likes to tuck it and go. His draft stock is low due to a back injury he suffered in 2019, but he started and completed every game in 2020. McCollum could be a late-round steal for the Buccaneers.
