The best first-round draft pick for the Buccaneers by Jason Licht

Mike Evans, WR, 2014

As the best player in franchise history, Mike Evans is easily at the top of this list. It may seem sacrilegious to put Evans over some of the all-time greats on the team, but his time with the Bucs has indicated that he will end up with this undisputed title.

Evans has already made a very compelling case as the best offensive player in team history at least. After unbelievable consistency with a franchise that has been anything but stable, Evans is the product of his own greatness, no one else.

With an NFL record and plenty of personal accolades in hand, Evans has emerged as one of the top receivers in the NFL year after year. Even with injuries, backup quarterbacks, and general turnover around him each year, Evans has chosen to stick it out with the Bucs as a loyal leader that everyone loves to play behind.

Of all the players on the roster, Evans was the most deserving of the Super Bowl victory other than Lavonte David. Evans set the pace for the Licht era in Tampa, and even if he was the only good pick the front office made, he is the type of player that makes a career in the front office.
