It’s finally Draft Day. For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they could not be in a better position. With all 22 starters (amongst others) from the Super Bowl championship team returning, they are in a prime position to have as much of a stress-free war room as possible. It’s honestly incredible we’re at this point since it was really hard to draft as bad as the Buccaneers had throughout a big part of their history. It’s a different spot to be in to be sure, but hey nobody is complaining.
With everyone else in the NFL running around trying to find the next star or next piece of a championship puzzle, it’s entirely possible that a player previously not thought possible can fall right into the defending champ’s laps.
It’s part of the magic of the draft. Teams will panic, teams will reach, or teams will stay put and sometimes be rewarded with their patience. It’s what makes the NFL Draft pretty much must-see television at this point, for those that are into that sort of thing.
With this all being said, let’s take a look at three options for the Buccaneers with the 32nd pick that previously didn’t seem like possibilities, or not getting enough attention.
